Liberation Garden Museum - Permanent exhibition
Official opening on May 5, 2023: Liberation Garden, in Leopoldsburg, East-Flanders. The new liberation museum is an iconic building that sparkles like a diamond. The 700 m2 immersive exhibition brings to life the many historical events that happened in this region during World War II.
The visitors journey presents a remarkably rich, personal and emotional story that is told in chapters and through unique interactions, objects, witness-accounts, audio experiences, a 3D-film - and a VR-film that puts you in a Spitfire over war-ridden Europe on a decisive moment in our recent history. Exhibition design by MOXIE. Developed in close cooperation with Heijmerink Wagemakers and IJsfontein Amsterdam.
