Cultural center Scharpoord in Knokke-Heist in Belgium - ever since the concert of the Beach Boys in 1987 the "Surfers Paradise" of the North Sea coast - commissioned the exhibition „Surfing – The Cult of Cool“. Presenting the fascination and richness the cult of surfing culture. In five themed settings the visitors experienced surfing heritage and future, lifestyle, boards, heroes and legends, professionals, music, films and photography. In this 700 m2 scale, an absolute first on the theme in Europe.
